Across the internet for the past few weeks you have been alerted to the alarming decision of the Federal Communications Commission to host a vote to rollback net neutrality protections that allow for smaller services such as TalentCraft, and many larger ones to exist. By repealing net neutrality, internet service providers will be permitted to have much greater control over the content you may be able to view, and the speed with which you view it. On December 14th, the Federal Communications Commission will vote to overturn this, removing the mandate on internet service providers.
It is important for all of us to make a stand and push that we will not stand for a restricted, internet that this rollback will cause. The only entity that can stop this is congress, who can pass a bill overriding the Federal Communications Commission. Internet service providers have already lobbied much of congress to have them not do anything. The only thing that can convince them otherwise, is a clear statement from whom they represent, that the people will not take the repeal of consumer protections lightly. Please stand up and write your elected representatives, and hope that net neutrality continues!
